After 'vivah' Amrita Rao Used to Receive Numerous Relationship Proposals

Actress Amrita Rao gained recognition in the Bollywood industry through the film "Vivah" in 2006. It has been one of the finest and successful films in her career. Recently, the actress discussed her experience working on this film.

She revealed that after working in the film "Vivah," she started receiving numerous marriage proposals from far and wide.

In an interview with Rajshri Productions' YouTube channel, Amrita reminisced about the days of the film and said, "When 'Vivah' was released, I started receiving a flood of marriage proposals.

At that time, smartphones were not as prevalent in India, so I received most of these letters from people in Canada and America. They would send pictures of their homes, mothers, and cars.

It used to amuse me. But when I look back, I realize the impact a character can have on people. It was truly magical." During the conversation, Amrita mentioned that initially, the film received mixed responses, with people feeling nostalgic about her previous era's roles.

However, filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya advised her not to worry about it and explained that the real decision about the film lies with the audience. It's worth mentioning that the film earned more than 100 crores after its release.

On the completion of 15 years of "Vivah" in 2021, RJ Anmol shared a picture with Amrita and congratulated her. Not only that, but RJ Anmol also revealed that he watched "Vivah" with his mother in a theater in Delhi 15 years ago.

Sharing the post, he wrote, "On this day in 2006, I went to watch 'Vivah' in a theater in Delhi with my family.
