Amit Shah's remarks on B.R. Ambedkar led to a massive protest

The Congress Party is protesting all over India, asking for the resignation of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. They are asking for his resignation because of his remarks in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. He said that the Congress Party would be in heaven if they had chanted God's name rather than Ambedkar's. They have used this name mostly everywhere.

"Abhi ek fashion ho gaya hai - Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar, Ambedkar. Itna naam agar bhagwan ka lete to saat janmon tak swarg mil jata," Amit Shah said this.

These words by Amit Shah had created a massive protest that includes almost every opposition party, like Congress, TMC, DMK, RJD, Left parties, and Shiv Sena-UBT. They all are considering Amit Shah's statement disrespectful to Bheem Rao Ambedkar and the constitution.

This huge protest resulted in the adjournment of both houses of Parliament on Wednesday. This drama not only stayed in the Parliament but also spread into the streets of Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Bihar.
In Delhi, people are continuously sloganeering, "Amit Shah Maafi Mango, Amit Shah Sharam Karo" outside the BJP office. The President of Congress Party said that if Narendra Modi, the PM of India, has any respect for Bheem Rao Ambedkar, then he should remove Amit Shah from the office unless he does it himself.

Amit Shah also held a press conference at the BJP office to make clear his statement on Wednesday. He said that the Congress Party is twisting the facts. He also said that the Congress party is doing all this protesting and all with bad intention and after planning-plotting.

Narendra Modi also posted on X ,defending Amit Shah, “If the Congress and its rotten ecosystem think their malicious lies can hide their misdeeds of several years, especially their insult towards Dr. Ambedkar, they are gravely mistaken.The people of India have seen time and again how one Party, led by one dynasty, has indulged in every possible dirty trick to obliterate the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar and humiliate the SC/ST communities"
