At the sash ceremony of Elite Miss Rajasthan 2024, Season 11, the atmosphere was charged with ambition and determination. "I may come from a small town, but my dreams are big. It's not just girls from metro cities who can win the crown; it's everyone's right," said several contestants from smaller towns who donned the coveted sashes. The event marked the announcement of the top 29 finalists, each of whom shared their stories of struggle and perseverance.
The ceremony saw distinguished guests such as Jagdish Chandra, Pawan Goyal, and JD Maheshwari, who motivated the finalists. Sheena Parashar welcomed everyone to the event, expressing her pride in the journey Elite Miss Rajasthan has undertaken. She highlighted the fact that a large number of girls from across Rajasthan auditioned for the competition, with the top 29 securing their place in the final round.
Balancing Family Responsibilities While Competing for the Crown
The sash ceremony featured contestants from diverse backgrounds—some were daughters of farmers, teachers, and even from the IT sector. A few had lost their parents at a young age but continued to carry both their family responsibilities and their dream of winning the crown. Despite their personal challenges, these girls have pushed through and are now contenders for the prestigious title.
A Decade of Women Empowerment
Gaurav Gaur, Director and Founder of Elite Miss Rajasthan, shared that for the past 10 years, the organization has been working toward empowering women across the state. Thousands of girls have gained recognition in the fields of modeling and acting through this platform. In Jaipur alone, over 200 girls from Elite have successfully established themselves and are standing strong on their own.
